Should I leave the highlighting cap on when I put the toner on my newly bleached strands?

If I take the cap off and use a toner to take out the brassy color from my highlights will it effect my newly died dark auburn hair or not?

No it would not, What you do need is a cylophene, it comes in different color even in a natural tone that brings back your hair to life, you apply it like you would a color.Matrix is a very good brand.
