i just got highlights 2 weeks ago but my hair looks yellow with orange i wanna get like ash blonde highlights and someone said to put a toner but i dont know what it is and how it works. which would be the best brand?

there are several different colours of toners but the most common seems to be lilac toner (also called white toner) - this is used for neutralising yellow tones in hair to make them white. You can see more information on toners here:

all known brands are the same as it is just a combination of chemicals... but i wouldnt go with a cheaper brand as you never know what chemicals they substitute with... you can go to the hairdresser and ask for a toner next time they dye it it pretty much just removes the yellowness from your blonde bits and makes them look 'whiter'.
or u can get some shampoos that say on them 'remove the brassy tones' i know schwarzkopf has one..

hair toner makes your hair look more natural with the highlights in. and I do think it comes in different shades. I have never tried any because I have never dyed my hair before because I think it looks beautiful the way it is.

you should get it professionally done...it doesn't cost that much i had it before...it just makes your hair not as bright...i had the same color as you so i just went to the hair place and they fixed it

wow i cant believe u dont know what a toner is- its someting that TONES down your hair.
