Hi! I have had a very similar hairstyle since about 3rd grade when my mother cut all my hair off and I thought I looked like a boy and cried for a week

Anyhow, I'm in desperate need of a trim and plan on going sometime this week...my question is! Should I just get my regular trim or should I try bangs? I haven't had bangs since about grade six when I finally grew them out.

This is my picture. I want to get something like a light side swept bang or kind of the angled bangs Jennifer Lopez has here

I read there that angled bangs are a great way to give a face that's very round some new angles.

Help?

And please...constructive criticism! If you think it won't work, Any pictures of other suggestions would be great, so I can take them to Bobby

Note: That is an older picture. I have since added nice copper highlights through my hair and a few long layers :)

Also: I do own a straightener and try to let my hair dry naturally as often as possible. I have thick dark hair that in the back is about 16 inches in the front and nearly 2 feet long in the back...

And I'm not trying to LOOK like JLO, she just had the bangs I kind of like thank you very much Tyler :P

i think if you get medium bangs it would look good! and part your hair over to the side and make your bangs go at an angle! thats how my hair is and it looks way good! and plus i got kinda a chubbly face but a little body! its wierd!

Looking at magazines at the hairdresser a few weeks ago, bangs are in. Shorter bangs are in too, as well as the longer side swept ones.

I always have some kind of bangs because I have a high forehead, so bangs help with that.

Aw. I love Reese :) I think a side bang would actually look really good on you. I had the regular bangs for ... oh my goodness, all my life, then moved onto side bangs. They look sophisticated and are super cute. You can never go wrong. With your hair style, it looks like you could have yours to the left and have it intigrate into the rest of your hair. I think it would look really nice. :) Good luck either way!

Bangs are good for a round face shape but only IF they're done correctly. The side-swept style is very good for round faces, while blunt cut bangs are not. I say go for it! They would be very flattering on your face.

First of all, you are very beautiful :) Second of all, I think the bangs would be nice. The side swept ones, from the picture you included. Third of all, go for it and God bless, you'll look fine either way

Side bangs would look good, but don't do straight across bangs, they will make a round face look more round.

Go for the bangs. Just make sure they're a cut that complements the shape of your face.

I think a long bang would look good on you, but it can get aggravating.
