Well, how dark are you?
Only the medium dark red skins could wear sometime a blond hair. but this skins are so scarce.
If you are pale dark forget about it (oriental girls look AWFUL with blond hair...)
If you are medium dark you can use browns, even light browns and some dark reds.
If you are black, you can use the reds, even a little light. And some pinkish tones, yes PINK...
But remember that the best color for darks is BLACK....
And that coloring your hair is HARMFUL, save that for when you have whites....it is years and years and more years coloring...

If you can get a natural looking blonde, you will look like you have a nice tan there! Go for it, I would.

May I suggest that you use a powerful conditioner to keep up on the softness of your hair to assure a natural feel, and a lighter shade of lipgloss as well for effect, to match your earrings/nails

i've always found that if you have darker features, darker eyebrows...lightening your hair only makes you look fake. And when the roots grow in, it looks just awful. Not only are you stripping your hair of its natural color when going lighter (and ultimately damaging your hair), but you are going to have to touch up your roots twice a month to keep up with it.

If you do have lighter eyebrows, and medium to light brown hair, it will look pretty good though. But once again, it does have potential to damage your hair since you are putting chemicals in it.
