i use straighter but as soon as i go out in the wind or rain it just looks like ive been dragged tho a bush! any advice pls!! any products to make it thicker and give it body.or the best stuff to use to make it stay in place but not look heavy.....not to much to ask!! lol

it doesn't help and also when I do wash it every other day my scalp goes dry and flaky, can anyone recommend what I can do or use?

After budgeting for a few months to get my hair done, I went in Saturday. I wanted a hair cut and all over color process. I like getting my hair colored a little dramatic "different" I don't mean with crazy colors. Just your typical browns and blondes. I wanted my underneath to be darker the top to be lighter. You know the popular thing right now. My stylist recommended that we do 3 different shades of brown, with some carmel highlights on top. The colors she showed me really did look different. I trusted her advice. With the cut it would $176. No problem because it was going to be a change for me. My cut turned out horrible, my longer layers I wanted is now one long length underneath and a short curl under top layer. It looks terrible. I can't do a thing with it but pin the top back. My color that took 3 hours, looks no different then the color I walked in with, that I didn't like, because it was brassy and uneven. It's even more brassy. So what would you do if you were me?

and also what's the brand "the latter"? what are some other great products that help volumize the hair b/c i have straight,smooth, fine hair that it's so hard for me to volumize it. I've tried bed head, big hair, herbal essences, just a lot of brands.

i keep getting these tin bald spots above my lip where no hair grows. so if i ever had a mustache it would look way stupid because there are small bald spots. has anyone even heard of this or seen this??? very odd....

most importantly, what causes this??

Hi, I am 16 years old and for my birthday I decided to have something different done to my hair. So I had it cut (I love how it is cut) and highlighted (full head) anyway it turned out awlful. I wanted it to be a nice blonde but it looks white although everyone says it doesn't and my dad says it's lovely. I am really upset though because one of the girls at my school said my hair looked greay and another said I looked like her nan. I am so upset what should I do? please give me some advice I don't want to leave the house. Oh and I really don't want it dark cos it looks awlful and doesn't suite me. Thankyou everyone.

I have natural dark brown hair, my eyebrows are browny/grey and my eyes are hazel. My complextion is pale and bad (quite spotty) and i am always on some sort of medicine for it which helps. Please help me decide **what i should have done to my hair!** I recently went allover blonde but was very high maintence with my roots and soon after a month or so went yellow. So i decided to have brown put in it so now its stripey, blonde, brown, blonde. My friends say i should go brown but i dont think its that nice and really makes me look pale and my spots show badly. PLEASE HELP!!

My natural hair colour is dark blond/light brown, but i dye my hair quite blond because i like it blond. The trouble is i have very dark eyebrows and this is quite noticable. Is it possible do you know if i could have them tinted to a different colour that works with my hair better. Ive heard you can only tint them from light to dark. Please help me im fed up of having blond hair and black eyebrows! Thanks, i will be waiting for advice.

I have straight, long hair that comes to about the middle of my back. I like the way it looks when it's curled, but after spending so much time curling it when a curling iron, it's gone within about an hour. How do I get my hair to hold? I use mousse and hairspray.
Would using hot rollers be more effective?
