I'm a guy, so I hope you take this the way it is meant.

Men LOVE long hair. I recommendd simply going to a hair salon, and request a cut that adds volume to your hair without taking off more than is needed to get rid of split ends. Then, ask about what type of shampoo and conditioner (always keep them seperate) your type of hair needs to keep it at it's healthiest.

Trust me, if you're looking for some attention from the guys, or trying to keep the attention of a special someone, keep your hair long, simple, and healthy. He'll love it!

You need to at least cut off the split ends - maybe an inch. Use a good shampoo and conditioning treatment. Do not shampoo your hair every day - do it every other day. Get a good leave in conditioner to help you deep condition your hair.

Condition of hair is related to your overall health. Eat healthy, take a multivitamin and generally stay healthy.

Merry Christmas

well you could just trim it a little to get the spit ends taken care of. One idea is to cut it a little shorter at a time, and that way it won't be too drastic. If you didn't like it that short it would only take a little while to grow back insead of a long time if you got it all cutt off at once. Another idea is to try differnt hair styles by pulling it up and pinning it back to see if you wouldl like it shorter. Hope that helps and merry christmas too

You don't really have to cut it short.. just a lil shorter than it is now.. maybe 2 to 3 inches past your shoulders will do.. or you can ask your hairdresser to just trim off the damaged ends (this is what my bestfriend does, she has the same problem)..but if you opt for this, be sure to maintain it at least monthly. Review your diet too, maybe your hair isn't getting enough protein.. Oh, have you tried aloe vera?? It's proven to make your hair thicker and healthier. Goodluck!

How about some layers? That will get rid of the split ends without taking too much of the length off. My hair is past my shoulders and when I need something new - that is what I go for. I ask my stylist to "shape" it or "cut into it" for a change without being drastic

Find a beautician with great style. Have him/her cut it to suit your face. Sometimes you need to step out of your "comfort" zone. You never know...even though you think you don't want Short hair, it maybe just what the Dr. ordered to turn your "love for style" around. GOOD LUCK and Merry Christmas to you.

split ends are ONLY 1/8 of an inch long on most peoples hair. just get rid of them but if your hair is thin you may have to get a little more of a cut.

Hey. I think you should try thicken shampoo and conditioner. Also try deep conditioning your hair every week or two as well as cut your split ends every two weeks.O and wrap your hair it night and tie it down when you go to sleep. In the morning it gives your hair bounce and a thicker look. Good Luck. Merry Christmas.

To lose the split ends, get a trim. [[ You dont have to lose a lot. With layers you can keep the length. ]] I can say get some layers, and maybe an angle... but whos to say you'll like it? Just check out some hairsyling books. Look into your fav. celebs and check out their haircut and take a picture to your stylist. Because life is a lot easier when clients bring in a picture. You can also ask for their opinion because they're trained to know what good for your face shape and they can tell whether it will work on you or not, so it doesnt hurt to ask and take their tips into consideration.

To cut or not? I can relate. First trust who cuts your hair. Then its up to you , cut off or trim up. Ide go for trimming up the splits, and some layers will add body , bounce, a little can be alot.
Good Luck!
