i keep getting these tin bald spots above my lip where no hair grows. so if i ever had a mustache it would look way stupid because there are small bald spots. has anyone even heard of this or seen this??? very odd....

most importantly, what causes this??

Sounds like Alopecia Areata. It is kind of like male unpattern baldness although it women and childern can get it also. Some people lose only some hair on their head and others lose all body hair. Try the link below to learn more.

well friend,if you grow a mustache,the longer hairs should cover up the bald spots.

Genetics causes this- (or long term waxing-which I'm sure is not your case), and unfortunately, if hair does not grow there by the end of puberty, chances are, you are stuck with it. Now, if you are still growing, it takes time for facial hair to come in, so don't worry, it will come.
