You probably know this already but i thought it wouldn't hurt to mention: avoid wearing hats and head coverings, and when you put face cream on at night tie your hair back (try also not to brush it too much). Do not wash your hair with hot water, try and make it lukewarm. And just put conditioner at the ends of your hair. Try a natural shampoo for sensitive skin that won't irritate your scalp, as your scalp should certainly not be going dry and flaky just because you use shampoo every day. Hope this helps

I had a similar problem when I was young. It does get better when you get older. I found not lightening my hair helped because the oil shows up more on blond hair. I also got to the point where I would wash and style my hair in the morning then touch it up at night. I would only wash the bang area and restyle the front. Another factor is the amount of humidity there is in the air. I now live in a semi-arid climate. This has helped out immensely. But moving is obviously a drastic solution.

you need a shampoo made for greasy hair. like a lemon or a clairifying shampoo. wash your hair once a day.
dont use any conditioner.
dont use products especally serums and gels unless you really have too as these will weigh you hair down and make it look worse.
take time at least 2 minutes to rinse all of the shampoo out of your hair.
clean your hair brushes and combs weekly as they can hold grease on them.
maybe a medicated shampoo can help.

Go to Boots and buy 'Lee Staffords Dry Shampoo' its in a pink areasol bottle and works fantastic at making hair look 'justed washed' for an extra day. Spray it on - brush & go

Only wash your hair once a day otherwise it will just get greaser. Use a shampoo made for oily hair. If you use conditioner DO NOT put it on the roots of your hair.

try a clarifying shampoo once a week. also, only condition once a week. the greasiness can also come from whatever you are using to style your hair. try a spray on gel, as opposed to a gel or mousse. also, make sure that you are thoroughly rinsing everything out of your hair.

i had this problem a few months back, and i asked my hairdresser about it. My problem was because i had changed my shampoo and it had too much moisturiser in it, so i changed to using herbal essences, its much better i don't have that problem anymore. i got a flaky scalp too, i think its from too much washing.

Try "Agree" shampoo and don't condition hair or scalp until the weekend. It works for me.

get a shampoo for oily hair. It will help. Are you using a conditioner,if so don't use one every time or just get a detangler product in place of a creme conditioner.
