Hair - November 2006

Im getting Kinky Twists on December 21,2006,and I want to know what color to get.Black is ok(But I dont really Like it),I already have a Dark red in my hair which I really like,and my hair dresser wanted me to get brown.Theres more colors I like but Im not sure,what color to get.Can you possibally give me more/other choices of color so then Ill be able to choose?If so,Id appreciate that very much!!

hi iam 18 male and i have a short hair. i use st.ives conditioner to make it soft but after 3hrs my hairs becomes dry .plz suggest me wat should i do to make my hairs soft for a long time(5-6 hrs).

I recently went to Chicago and my Hair Straighteners wouldn't work even when plugged thorugh an adapter.I know the US has a different voltage than the UK, but is there any way to make them work? I'm going to LA in January and if they aren't going to work i'll use the space in my case for more shoes!!

My hair is very thin and straight. It all together is as thick as a finger. Besides, it breaks too easily. What should I do to to make it stronger? If I shaved it, would it help? I'm a girl, but I wouldn't mind doing that, if it helped my hair grow stronger. And what if I got it cut every other month or so? Would that change anything? And are there any products that I could buy?

I am losing a lot of hair for the past one year.Heard that it cud happen bcoz of Stress.So I tried 2 get rid of it but due 2 a lot of reasons cudnt.Im still suffering from the same prob.I also have a lot of Dandruff.Tried all kinds of Shampoos,Head & Shoulders,Clinic All Clear,Nizral,Garnier,also 1 from Amway.But none of them worked.Is there any other way to Stop my hairfall and to grow them back.Plz,Plz help me.I am quickly running out of options & hair....

I've tried a few but nothing seems to work that well. I colour my hair every 8 weeks and its finally taken it's toll.
Combine that with straightening, and I have really dry hair

I have a naturally very cool complexion, pale, with a few pink undertones, but not alot. i have green/blue eyes and my hair is a medium brown, and to be hoenst i have always been desperate to go blonde - now i actually have the guts to do it, but i am a little unsure. If i do, i am going to do a full head of highlights, 3 colours of blonde through my hair. I was thinking of quite sort of, mink type colours - any suggestions? Also - my eyebrows are very dark, any tips for making them lighter? As many answers as possible please - this is driving me mad! Has anyone gone from a medium brown to blonde?

I live in london and walk to work every day, it's 35mins and in this weather that is more than enough time for my freshly straightened hair to turn into a fuzzy frizzy mess. Umbrellas offer very little protection when the wind blows the rain horizontally! It is SO frustrating to look like s**t before the day even starts!

I put all my hair back into a ponytail but the ends still get fluffy and little bits fall out around my face and curl up.

I want to get it cut into a bob but then it really wouldn't be able to curl up or go frizzy w/o looking awful.

What do other girls do?

I have completely blonde hair, it is TOO blonde and I want to tone it down a bit...make it look more "highlighted". What is the best way for me to slightly darken my hair a shade or two without dying? Lowlighting? How should I go about lowlighting? I've never done it before. Whats the best method? A cap? Should I pull very fine strands of hair through ALL the holes or just some? I need all the help I can get! Please someone help mee!

I have stright hair BUT.... towards the back in the center its wavy this is verry bad cuz I can't wave the rest of it and I hate ironing that section of my hair, my hair is dark brown to black and no highlights. Is there anithing that I can use to make my hair evenly straight without having to iron it? Shampoos or proceses but I'm afraid of relaxers, I think its to harsh and I can't afford the japanese thing. Help pretty plissssss.......

I need to recolor my hair because my roots are showing again. I have the dye, I've done it many times, but the instructions always say to basically do the dye on dirty hair. How many days do I have to wait for it to be dirty? I just washed it last night without thinking. The only stuff in my hair is leave-in conditioner and a shine lotion. Is that good enough to be "dirty" for coloring it tomorrow?

So even though I used a medium golden brown hair color kit on my hair it ended up coming out more of a dark brown/red color. I've done do-it-yourself kits before and the same thing happened--red-- so I'm not sure why I tried it again. I think my hair absorbs more color than most people's or something. ANYWAY... my question is: if I buy an ash brown color kit will it cancel out some or all of the red? What should I do to get the red out of my hair? Thanks in advance!!
