Dyeing hair blonde? Should i? And what about eyebrows?

I have a naturally very cool complexion, pale, with a few pink undertones, but not alot. i have green/blue eyes and my hair is a medium brown, and to be hoenst i have always been desperate to go blonde - now i actually have the guts to do it, but i am a little unsure. If i do, i am going to do a full head of highlights, 3 colours of blonde through my hair. I was thinking of quite sort of, mink type colours - any suggestions? Also - my eyebrows are very dark, any tips for making them lighter? As many answers as possible please - this is driving me mad! Has anyone gone from a medium brown to blonde?

I will also be going to a hair salon to have it died! not using a home kit!

better ask a professional stylist if you can change your hair color that much
attempting too much change usually leaves results that make you wish you didnt have hair

if u go wth three colors for ur highlight, u'll have a hard time maintaining them when your roots start to grow. You can start with one highlight color (like sandy blonde) distributed all over ur head on very thin locks of hair , and then just a few thick highlights on the surface, then in a month or so, when ur brown roots start to show, it's easier to maintain the highlight, and u'll gradually turn into a full blonde in a couple of months, cos every time u go for another highlight, u'll get more blonde locks. for ur eyebrows,let ur hairdresser lighten them a little bit, not too much though!

I say it's your hair-do how you like! If you use a good stylist it should come out to be anythinh you can't live with for at least long enough for it to grow out.
I never colored my hair, and it's darkened with time, but in my younger years I was an ash blond with naturally dark eyebrows-a lot of people commented how it looked and said I made the right choice not to bleach my brows too!

Why don't you try one of the photo imaging services so that you can see exactly what you'd look like with blonde hair? You upload a photo of yourself, then you can try on thousands of hairstyles and colours. http://www.thehairstyler.com/ is good, and so is http://www.mystylebook.com/ which also lets you add make-up so you could probably lighten your eyebrows and see what that would look like! There's a small monthly charge, you might be able to find something free if you look around.

I went blonde over 30 years ago & have never gone back. EVERYONE should try being blonde at least once in their life.

There is lightener for eyebrows that you can get in a drug store or beauty supply store. And when you do your roots, do ALL your roots (& I mean ALL of them--there's nothing better than being blonde, all over !)

And yes, blondes DO have more fun !!!!
