Hair - November 2006

I Need help please... i have a hair dryer or hair roller it is very old. It is the kind you clamped metal clamps to roller,It is made by Duart, It is like nothing i have ever seen you would be amazed to see it also, its acually kind of scary looking, I do not know anything about it and can not seem to find anything on here if you know anything about it or where i can find information about it please let me know

I was wondering if it was just in my case -- whenever I go there, even if I go with a different hairstylist, they always cut my hair either too short, completely different from the picture I took, or one side longer or shorter than the other. Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, please tell me why?!

The GVP straightener. I have it and it works pretty good! but the other day I was babysitting my neighbor and she had a real chi. She straightened my hair with it and the results were amazing!! My hair was sooo much straighter!! But maybe that was just because my hair was pretty much already straight when she did it. I boguht it at sallys only because I read it was supposed to be the "twin" of a chi, meaning all of the materials used are exactly the same. Soo im just wondering if anyone has used one of both of these! thanks guys!!! I think I might want to get the real chi for christmas if it truly is bettter!

I have naturally wavy hair, which i frequently straighten. I normally don't use alot of product in it, except for the occasional spritz of hairspray. It looks good when I'm inside, but as soon as I leave for school it starts to curl a little, which tends to be really annoying when you spend like 40 minutes straightening it.

Are there any good tips to keep it straight?

my hair is very thin. on the part where my bangs are i have some little small hairs that are really sort and kinda skimpy. they annoy me and i can never get them into a barrette or anything. is there any kinda of shampoo or something that can help my hair from this "breakage"?
