I was wondering if it was just in my case -- whenever I go there, even if I go with a different hairstylist, they always cut my hair either too short, completely different from the picture I took, or one side longer or shorter than the other. Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, please tell me why?!

if i were you i would find a hair technician that has more experience than those girls at those "franchise salons". You might have to pay 10 bucks more for the cut - but at least you will get what you want. (You get what you pay for- that is what i have learned about hair cuts)

I got my hair colored a really dark brown, almost black, at Supercuts and the lady missed a few spots. First, they charge extra to dry your hair so when I left it was wet and looked all the same color but when I got home and dried it there were spots here and there that were still light. The lady did a good job in helping me pick out a great color she just either missed some spots or didn't let the die sit long enough, but I guess every stylist is going to be different.

I get my hair done at Fantastic Sams also. I have been a customer for about 6 years now.

The only problem I encountered is when I get a certain style and it doesnt look like the picture I make them correct it. It is your duty to speak up if you dont like what they are doing. Some people just sit there hating their hairstyle and say its fine and leave when done. Me on the other hand I am very vocal especially if I am paying for it.

Make them redo it. Its your money, your right.

Because they don't know what they're doing.
Go to a real salon or somewhere where the people have a clue about hair.

All stylists cut differently. Pick one you like and stay with it.

It is because they hire kids right out of beauty school.

You get what you pay for. Perhaps you should try a salon.
