The salon owners should hire beauticians and fire uglitions. The type of hairdressers who suck and have attitude and bring the other hairdressers down. There are rules to beauty and if the stylist disagrees ''fire them'' And lazy hairdressers, the ones who give a good color and then don't give a good cut. Hairdressers who don't like doing hair. Hairdressers who don't like people. And the ones who don't keep up on what's new and don't care. Fire them all.

I think the worst thing is the initial appointment. I have a very busy schedule and I hate when the hair dresser books an appointment for me (a loyal customer by now), only to get there and discover that not only does she have the time double or even triple booked, but that she is not even there yet! I once had to wait an hour and a half for a hair dresser to show up, and the ONLY reason I waited was because I had a special event to go to and didn't trust anyone else to do my hair last minute!

Honestly I have absolutely no complaints about my salon. I love my stylist (he's the absolute best - gives fantastic scalp massages and is the only one I've found who can cut my hair exactly how I want).

I never have to wait (of course I always make an appointment), the salon is always ****-and-span clean (they sweep constantly), and it's a really nice salon too.

Of course it's a little pricier than going to Fantastic Sams or SuperCuts, but the wonderful experience of going there is well worth it!

I can't stand it when stylists go snip...snip...snip... teeny-tiny little snips that take forever and make me feel like he/she is incompetent.

I'm an anxious person by nature, and I hate haircuts in general. So when I submit to one (as rarely as possible), I want that sh!t cut as fast as possible. Just grab big hunks of it and hack it off, get it over with!

Seriously, I want the snips to convey confidence. I once had an awful stylist who did tiny snips...and she didn't cut enough off my hair and I made her do it again. She kinda f*cked it up, but whatever, it's just hair. I mainly hated having to sit there for ages while she snipped two hairs at a time. Got things to do, can't be sitting around waiting for a haircut to be over.

My better haircuts have been from people who cut fast and moved right along. I guess they were better in general, maybe more experienced, or better at visualizing how to cut the hair.

Not listening to your description of how you want your hair. Talking to someone else about something personal instead of engaging with you. Worse is when they are dead silent. Smoking and then putting their fingers/breath in your face. Disagreeing with you over the description of color- get a swatch please let there be no confusion. Leaning over while shampooing with something stuck in teeth or nose-yikes clean it up! Trying to get you to buy a million products. Styling your hair with the chair turned around, so you can't learn how to do it at home.

People that don't show up for their appointments without cancelling! Don't they realize not only that they're being rude, but it costs the salon money. As with everything else, the customers wind up paying in the end.

I hate when one stylist books like 5 customers to be intertwined with each other! It always ends up taking sooooo much longer!

I hate it when the stylist does not book enough time for your cut.....then he/she ends up rushing you and sometimes he/she acts like a jerk if you aren't ready to go because you have a problem with the cut....it makes it to where you don't get what you are paying for.

I hate when the people talk about others, not the gossip that goes around, but talking about people who walk by and what they are wearing.

"did you see that girl, and her outfit" "her shirt was too tight/big"
That kind of thing. it makes me think that they have small minds and have nothing better to do then make fun of people.

not everyone has the style they do, and it ticks me off. I refuse to go to some places because I overheard them talking about people like that.

i hate when the stylist wants to make me a hairdo I don't like, and keep insists on how good it looks. Well, I don't care: i want something else!
