I have never dyed my hair, I am going to be 30 and it's gotten a little darker through the years but not too bad. How bad is it really on your hair to dye it. Many people tell me not to do it cause it will damage my hair so much. I always said I would wait till I had some grays but I feel like I need a change I am just not sure if I will keep up with all the maintenance cause I am not use to it any opinions?

I'm thinking about getting a perm but I don't know what kind that is. I like how it's wavy instead of a spiral curl

I have tried everything to get rid of this annoyance, first i used the equaline lice kit, and cleaned and disinfected all clothes and bed linen and sprayed the whole house. My poor daughter got it again, so I retreated her and tried the mayo and showercap trick( to suffocate them) She got it again. I took her to the doctor and the doctor prescribed Kwell shampoo which the pharmacy told me they do not carry anymore to try nix cream rinse. Tried that and redisinfected the whole house again. It has been like a month and a half and I am about to lose my mind so I was curious if a perm would kill the lice and their eggs and if a 6 year old is too young to have a perm. I am at my wits end, I am not sure what I am doing wrong but I feel sorry for my baby and I want it gone! Please help!

I take good care of my hair (shampooing & conditioning it thrice a week, , oiling my hair once a week). But my hair produces a lot of static whenever I comb or brush it & the hair even gets staticky when my clothes go over the head while undressing. I have waist-length straight hair. Please help.

My hair is straight up until the very tips, where it curls. I find this annoying. Is there any way to make it look naturally straight without using a straightner or gel?

How often should I trim my hair. I got a really short buzzcut, #1 all over a few days ago and it already seems out of place, how often should i clip it to keep it looking fresh?

Any hairstylists out here?

Blow-drying your hair vs. letting it air-dry. Which one is better for your hair? Which is better for your style? I have straight hair.

My hair is originally light brown; so when I colored it last night I still have some red tones. What can I do now? No; I don't wan't to go to the hair salon. I think it can be toned down with Hydrogen Peroxide. Iv'e done this before. I'm just trying to make sure im right. It's just been awhile since I colored my hair. No I did not use a lightner, (just color only).

ever since i dyed my hair my red in the summer, i've noticed that every time i wash my hair, tons of hair come off and clog up the bathtub. i remember the last time i dyed my hair and around the time i start noticing it, even after a few days of dying my hair, hairdye still comes off (red). now that my hair isn't blondish anymore nor is it reddish since it already faded, i start to notice that my scalp shows more on top of my head and i'm barely 20 (it's not that noticeable, only to me mostly). my family don't have cases of hairloss of any sort nor does my extended family on both sides. can someone help and give me some insights? anyone else have this happened to? thank you! i'm concerned

It is shampoo and conditioner all in one bottle (mixed together).

Is ok for the hair? My hairdresser that i go to says that conditioner should never touch your scalp. im not asking her because she is away and i want to know now because i want to change my shampoo.

I got it done professionally. My natural hair color is brown. It turned out ok but I asked for a more ash blonde color and appparently the hair dresser didnt understand what that meant. It looks too fake for my taste, too yellow. Would it be ok to dye it at home a more ash blonde? Its been about a month since I originally dyed it.
