I have an oval face also and think it's great. You're lucky because oval shaped faces can sport basically any hairstyle, but I think that since you already have a shoulder length style why don't you get a nice layered bob w/ a hint of color at the top. Being here in CA. I have seen a lot of women with this type of haircut and I can't tell you how cute they are. Have the stylist razor cut it so it looks a little bit messy, put some hightlights mainly at the top of the hair and leave the bottom portion your natural color, have the back of the hair a little bit higher than the rest, and have her cut it so that the back of the hair is very close to your neck and the volume is mainly at the top. Bobs are very nice for oval faces especially when it's full of volume and color. Good luck.

A nice blunt little longer than chin length bob and if your bangs are able to be cut the same length that's great. If not a wispy longer bang looks awesome as well. It's the "in" style for the fall and many people who have long or shoulder length hair are trying this one out. I'd invest in a smoothing shampoo and conditioner and a nice hair smoothing balm as well. Get a round brush to smooth out curls as you dry it.

An oval face can wear any hairdo, lucky you. If your hair is thin, get a blunt cut which makes it look thicker.
