I'm thinking about getting a perm but I don't know what kind that is. I like how it's wavy instead of a spiral curl

yes that's a body wave...and they can make it as curly or wavy as you want by the length of time it remains on your hair....a spiral is rolled in a totally different way the curlers go vertically...have fun

yes that's a body wave the size of curls depends on the size of the rods used NOT how long its left on . the time determines the amount of hold!!! also go one size smaller than the curl you want because the weight of hair will weigh down the curl. after a perm get a deep condition 2 weeks after then once a month to keep your hair healthy!!!!

Ask for a very loose perm. Yes, this is a body wave perm.
