I got it done professionally. My natural hair color is brown. It turned out ok but I asked for a more ash blonde color and appparently the hair dresser didnt understand what that meant. It looks too fake for my taste, too yellow. Would it be ok to dye it at home a more ash blonde? Its been about a month since I originally dyed it.

You just need to tone down the yellow. I would be very careful using an ash color, some times they turn out looking green or gray on hair that has been lightened allot. I bleached my hair along time ago and used this toner called Winter Wheat to tone down the yellow, that would probably work out for you. That color is by Clairol. Good luck

You can use a blonde toner, it will correct the yellowness and give you a more natural look. Please don't use anything that would add an ash color now because that will turn your hair greenish. You can get a toner at a beauty store such as a Sally Beauty. And toners are ammonia and peroxide free so you wont do any damage to your hair.

Yes-you can dye it at home. The best thing to do is get a product that will take the dye out first. You can buy this anywhere they sell hair color products. Then add the color that you want. Be sure to get a good moisturizer and a deep conditioner. Plus it will help your hair to use a hot oil treatment. Use the hot oil treatment several times in a month. Coloring your hair dries it out and any professional will recommend that you let them do it. These are things that you can do yourself at home.

do not bleach it back! Your hair is too fragile! Use a clarifying shampoo to assist get slightly bit the further coloration out. THEN, you could bypass to an section grant position (like Sally elegance or Marlo elegance), and %. out a Semi-everlasting coloration (Wella is a outstanding form) to the coloration that you want. that's going to likely be secure to do, and leave the coloration on my own for a couple of minutes.

yes, you should be fine...just make sure you use an ash color though and also dampen the ends of your hair before applying the color to prevent your ends from grabbing the base color! good luck!

dying your hair blonde makes your hair really damaged since you have to use bleach.try dying your hair a different color that wont damage your hair as much.
