Blow-drying your hair vs. letting it air-dry. Which one is better for your hair? Which is better for your style? I have straight hair.

For long term effects, air-dry is better, otherwise your hair will be brittle with spilt ends and such. However, for a one day styling, blow-dry is better, especially if you use a large round brush and finish on the cold setting.

IF you have straight hair and want it fuller, blow-dry while bedding over.
It's not healthy to blow-dry everyday, it can cause dryness and breakage.
Depending on what style you want and the texture of your hair; there are a lot of products out there that can help protect your hair from becoming damaged.
I have long hair down past the middle of my back. It's healthy, but started to become dry from drying too often. Now I try to blow-dry as least as possible, but if I do, I use Pro Vitamin Intensives/Instant Repair. I love it, it leaves my hair silky and shiny!

my hair gets fuzzy when blow dried and when I let it air dry, it only gets kinda fuzzy. I have some body waves tho.

If you blow it dry, you should use some kind of product, like a shine or glass. Those have oil in them that relaxes any fuzzies after blow drying

On blow dry vs air dry, it depends on what's going on..where you are goinig, etc. but i think air drying is better for your hair, not too hot or damaging.

I have thick, curly hair and blow-drying it does make it smoother than before. But each person has a different kind of hair so this might not be true for everyone.

Blow drying helps to make your hair feel fuller and to style it.
Letting it dry naturally is probably best as a blow dryer over time
will slightly damage/dry out your hair. Keep using conditioner and it will look beautiful both ways.

I have straight hair too, and I have found that air-drying my hair makes it much softer than when I blow-dry it. Plus, in the long run, blow drying kills your hair (straightening does too, just much faster).

I think it is smoother when you blow dry it. Blow drying it does dry it out and can cause it to break off.I have long blond straight hair and if I don't blow dry it, it is real limp.

When I cold water rinse my hair it seems to be more flatter when it air dries vs using a warm water rinse with air dry.

No hair dryer used. I save electricity this way.
I use towel to squeeze dry the hair, not rub it.

Well, letting it air dry is better for your hair, but blow drying is better for styling, unless you have straight hair with no frizz, then air dry. I have frizz, so I have to apply glosser to my hair, then blow dry staight, then flat iron. Count your blessings!
