I have been wanting to cut my hair for a long time now, but was really bothered by what people think of girls with short hair. People at my school assume that it is associated with lesbians. I am afraid that if I cut my hair, people will think I'm gay. Is this true or not?

Try no shampoo or brush (not unhygienic). Massage scalp w/ conditioner and rinse. Then spread conditioner outside of hair and nape of neck. Gently comb tangles out w/ fingers from under hair and rinse. Or use wide toothed comb if you can't get all the knots out. At first hair will be worse. Takes 2 to 4 weeks begin working.

If you are shampooing straight hair it could be naturally wavy w/o shampoo. Wavy and staright haired people should try water-diluted shampoo. This works sooo well. It's all from a book that the web site above is based on. Check it out! And don't become discouraged if you have curly hair!

you see i spike my hair up everywhere on the top, the side and back. When i do it it doesnt look good though. the side and back just go down. I use that watery king of gel like the glue kind and glue the white creamish gel. I put it on and push my hair toward an angle going up and it goes back down. my hair is sometimes short and sometimes likean inch long. how do i get my hair spiked up.

i once died my hair black then brown but it just turned really dark brown and the i tryed to die it again but lighter, then it just got the roots! im really frusterated about that cause my hair just looks calico(multi colored) now.:( got any advice for me? i just want it to be solid light brown without it being all different colors. then after id like to add highlights

k,my hair is unbelievely big and puffy,and frizzy.I can't gel it,straighten it with a iron,or etc........


it's giving me a low self estyem:(and everyone hates my hair including me.

I heard from my haircutter,and other people that I can permentaly straighten it,and even asked a hairstylist if it's ok for my age(I'm 14)and she said it was ok!

but my mom,and my dad are paranoid about it,and said I'll get sick from it or my hair will fall out.they obviously made that up......and they won't let me get it anyway....


plz help me think of something to convince them....they're too stubborn:(

HEY YALL!!!! How yall doin'?I'm good!BUT I need help! OK so,I have blonish-brown layed hair.(more brown than blond)It has natural curl But I can straghten it. It's right under my shoulder blades.(long layers) I want to grow it out so I can cut it back into one layer again. It can't be to short. I need it grow grow fast.
