Hair doesn't grow "faster" like plants ...

It grows according to your own health ..

Wash them with a good shampoo (neutral..) every day to be healthy too...

no, read this article...

How can I make my hair grow faster?

Unfortunately, you can't. Putting pregnancy and illness aside, hair pretty much grows at a maximum rate of half an inch per month no matter what you do. A little faster in the summer due to a rise in matabolisim.
Although there is nothing that you can do to make your hair grow faster with current technology, there are a number of things that may actually slow the process such as; a poor hair care regimen, poor diet, illness, medication, male and female pattern hair loss, and emotional stress. Some of these things don't actually affect the growth rate per se, but they affect the hairs health and unhealthy hair will probably not grow to its full potential. Besides regular shampooing and conditioning with good quality products, the only other thing that you can really do is take a daily multi vitamin. Zinc and Biotin in particular seem to be good for hair.
I frequently hear of people taking pre-natal pills to make their hair grow faster, even men. The reason that an expecting mother's hair may grow slower or faster has to do with hormonal activity and not the pills. So please, stop doing that.

It is not good to shampoo your hair everyday because that takes away some of the natural oils in your hair. And yes your natural oils would make your hair healthier making it grow better.

im not sure if it helps your hair grow faster...i know its not necessarily good for your hair tho...it takes away the natural oils that help your hair stay healthy.

a few other ppl have asked how to help your hair grow faster...im assuming that is something your interested in since you asked this question...this is what i suggested for them to do...

Zinc, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Biotin, & Amino Acids along with a few other vitamins are very important in healthy hair growth.

Prenatal vitamins are high in a few of these vitamins which does make it very good for faster hair growth. Along with nail growth as well. All the other vitamins in them are very good for you too. A few of my friends take this for that purpose. Its pretty cheap and its very good for you. All of them say it works.~This of course is if your a female...im not to sure how this would work out on males?? ;)

Another thing that you may want to know...there are some really good products specially made for hair growth. A really good one is called "Shen Min". It has just about every vitamin known for healthy hair. Not only will it help your hair grow faster but it helps restore your hair back to its original form (color, thickness).

Another thing you could try is "main and tail" shampoo & conditioner. it is very good as well. i use this a few times a week to help my hair grow faster.

Prenatal Pills are very good for you no matter how you look at it & they will help your hair grow. An actual hair growth formula (like shen min) may be more of what your looking for.

theres a few ideas...for you. i hope i was able to help you some!

No your hair does not grow faster if you wash it more. It is a proven fact that hair grows a half an inch every month. So if you have short hair and want long, it's going to take a long time for it to grow to your desired length.

Well washing it everyday isn't the best thing to do. You could buy Doo Gro leave in growth treatment. It promotes strong, healthy, growing hair .I've grown about 5 inches of hair in 3 months. You can find it at Duane Reade and it's for all hair types!

If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin
Try GNC, they make a supplement called "Nourishair" in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a "Hair skin and nails" formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth. It may take 6 to 8 weeks to see results.

Hi, if you wash everyday and don't have oily hair you'll dry it out. the only thing you get out of that is your massaging your scalp which simulates the blood flo and that's what helps hair grow. instead, brush your hair and scalp while you watch tv or on the computer. hope this helps.

Yes!

It does. I washed mine three times this morning and now I have to go and get a haircut, it's almost grown to the floor.
