Hi , i am a hairstylist, this is what you need to do, get it trimmed every 4-6 ( only 1/4 inch if that) you need to cut the split ends off, if you dont they split higher making your hair shorter, then take vitamins b-12, or pre-natial pills, eveything will grow including your nails. leave your hair curly most off the time the les heat and damage the less split ends. good luck.

I use and love my Curetage line of products. I've used them a few months now, and they're really effective. I lose much less hair, and grow it faster, plus it looks thicker, is less tangled (almost never tangled), and doesn't get oily as fast. But I tried doing just the shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks recently and it does NOT work as well--for me, at least, the whole line needs to be used in conjunction with each other. It seems pricey, but I get away with using very little.. the first set I got (I'm only now starting on my second) lasted around four months (they say it's a two-month supply) of daily use. Try it, you might like it! Plus, trimming once or twice a month will probably help it grow faster... I don't get split ends (even now.. when it's been about a year since my last trim/cut), but when I get regular trims, my hair seems to be more inclined to grow for some reason... it slows when I don't get any for months or a year at a time. Just make sure they trim only half an inch to an inch off at a time :)

If you don't want to take any pills...Brush your hair a lot. Every night. And I don't mean just the hair, brush your scalp. You need to stimulate blood flow to your roots. When you're in the shower shampooing, make sure you lather at the roots really well to unblock your follicles, and, again, stimulate blood flow. And get your hair trimmed. I know it sounds like a myth, but it works for me. If you trim off all the spilt ends, it'll grow faster for some reason!
