Can anyone tell me why some women want to use 'bottled' hair dyes or tints to make themselves so-called blonde? Why can't they be happy with what their natural hair colouring that their genes intended. Is it just purely frivilous? WHY? ..... DISCUSS

I never really know what to say. And they always ask if I want them to use scissors or clippers. How do I know which tools to use? I am not a hairdresser. But it's always a crapshoot. Sometimes my haircut comes out just fine and other times it's a disaster. One woman even moved the part to the other side! (should I even have a part?) (sigh) perhaps I should just shave it all off.

Omg, as soon as the weather gets cold, my hair becomes so ridiculously static and I can't stand it. I always have to rub lotion into my hands and run my hands across the surface of my hair. But people look at me like I'm crazy when I do that. I use hairspray and I also spray/wet my brush. But the second I come inside after being outdoors, and as soon as I take off my coat, I'm full of static. I shock myself on metal so badly that it startles me. How can I get rid of this!!??

I use old fashioned mesh type rollers and pins with a tight triangular hair net around them to keep them in place while i sleep as i have found that foam rollers take too long to dry,

what type of rollers do you use and how do you secure them to keep them in place while you sleep

I have short hair now that's getting to be almost ear length and I want to grow it down to about 2-3 inches above my shouldars , but im worried about it looking stupid and unkept in the process. What should I do so it looks like I have a constant hair style?

my hair is dyed black, naturally brown, and i finally decided to get blonde or light brown highlights. should i use bleach first, and then apply the blonde? or is there a way for the bleach to look blonde if it stays in long enough? i'm afraid the bleach will turn out looking orange. or, do i not need bleach?

Ive got shoulder length hair that is almost all the same length. Would it be better to get layered extensions so it looks like my hairs just cut that way? Im thinking that if i get normal long extensions you will be able to tell where my hair ends and the extensions start. (In on about the cheaper fake extensions as a pose to the real hair.. much too expensive!!)
