I want to know is gel is harmful for hair if yes please tell me any other hairholder can I use almonds hairoil but it cannot able to hold hairs I have spike hairstyle so which thing will be good gel or any other thing.

I need your advise, or an opinon , or some sugestion, I went to a wedding but it was a dress up for halloween type of theme. and I went to a hair Stylists who was there for the party , doing everyones hair but, no one knew he was leaving that day to Cali. and we all had our hair done well now he teased, my hair so much and put a lot of spray on it that now i can only untangle one side of my hair , even though I have tried Everyting a friend has told me ,should work. I don't want to cut it ,.It is hip lenght, but for a cause for the locks of hair. For childern with cancer and I do take care of my hair very well . I have always had it washed ,set, and combed out by a female hairdresser, can anyone please advise how to comb out ,with out too much damage to my hair .. Thanks

I'm white and I have really curly hair. I don't have a problem with taking care of it or keeping it clean and nice. My hair is a brownish-red color, and I have natural highlights of gold, copper, blonde and red. I like my hair color, just somethings I'd love for a change. However, I have the worst time dying my hair. When I dye it at home, I can't go lighter, I could buy a lighter color hair dye and leave it on for 40 minutes and it doesn't hardly change my hair color, it may lighten it, but nothing noticeable. If I get a darker color hair dye, I can only leave it on for 3 mintues tops and my hair is either black or purple or really red. It is the EXTREME of that color. I've only had my hair colored at the saloon once and it cost me almost $100 and it didn't change my hair color at all. It was the same damn color, so I've been hesitant to return. Do you know of any reasons why my hair is so weird to color? Like I said before my hair is really healthy, but curly.. Thanks

My 18 year old son's hair, over the past 6 months, has now gone from "normal" to "greasy/oily" and he's really upset as he doesn't want to wash his hair daily. Can anyone recommend a good shampoo for his type of hair please? He's tried T-Gel's shampoo for greasy hair but would like to try others. We're in the UK so would prefer any recommendations easy to buy here! Many many thanks for your help and advice.

I always hear that blondes are better than brunettes, I just read a question about blondes being better than brunettes and that blondes are better than brunettes....does that mean that only the arian race is pretty? What about chinese people who have black hair? What about black people that have dark hair? Indians have dark hair and Hispanics have dark hair, and Middle Easterns do.
So is that pretty much saying that you have to be like the frigin arian race or something to be beautiful? WTF?

PS: i know, i know, thats not all true but for the most part, in a way it is....

I am a guy and my hair is between collar and shoulder length at the back and layered. My mom and I are going to a dinner/birthday party with her boyfriend and his daughter tomorrow night and my mom says that I need to wear my hair either tied back in a ponytail or cut it tomorrow morning. I don't want to cut it, especially not for one thing. But when I tie it back, bits of hair either don't reach the ponytail or they keep falling out and my mom says that if I can't do better than that, it just looks scruffy and she will get me to cut it.

What can I do to get the "neat" looking ponytail that will satisfy her.

I'm a boy, and im 13 years old.
i really want to know if it is a good idea to dye my hair black.
my mom says it would look funny coz of my eye brows..
but i have brownish/blondish eye brows.

I really wanna do it, like emo hair style, but i said to my mom you would hardly ever see my eye brows anyway...

My hair is straight naturally. Well, kind of, it has like 2 loose waves in it, but it just doesn't look good dried naturally. I have tried EVERYTHING to get it wavy/curly and it just doesn't work! I need something that will not make it frizzy either, and that could be done easily. Please nothing involving curling irons or a lot of steps to it. Thanks SO much! Bye!

im planning on cutting the sides shorter than the top and im planning on dyeing the top black and the sides a different color but im not sure wether i should first dye it then cut or first cut then dye.

i just got my hair cut (about to my chest) and before i left my hairdresser styled it by curling it loosely.
it looked so good, and i got alot of compliments.
the problem is i dont have a curling iron and my hairdresser said the one she uses is discontinued and its her personal favorite.
It needs to have a larger barrel, and work fast on thick hair.
