To me, it depends on the quality of color and healthy appearance of the hair.
Some brown hair can be shiny and healthy and full of highlights, as compared with bleached blond hair that may not appear healthy. Some blond hair (particularly that of, say, little Scandivanian children) is incredibly beautiful (and sometimes people can even get a good blond with hair color, but that's more often what you see on television than what you see of the blond hair at the supermarket and cinema).
Then there's that really thick, straight, shiny, variety of red hair....excellent and beautiful.
There are some very rich browns and then there are the lighter browns with natural gold highlights. (You didn't mention this color, but Asia black hair is super-shiny and healthy-looking usually).
I think even mediocre natural color is better than mediocre fake hair color as well. Also good are super-shiny and sleek hair, hair with beautiful shiny waves, and thick hair with natural curls.
So the answer to your question is - it depends.

I love all hair colors...but I usually stick with brown or black...I don't look good with blonde and I might try red soon.:)

Blondes make most men act like Homer Simpson toward a doughnut. Bleach doesn't count either. But my fiance'e has brown and I love it.

well i have natural medium brown hair with natural red highlights and what i was thinking was that reds do fade faster where it starts getting very dule and blonde hair seems to get very damaged if you dont have your own to much bleach damages that my answer is browns are best. believe me i would know ikf you like.

what about black? im a blondie so i guess blonde is the best hair color. but i think i will die it to black or something im like the only emo with blonde hair.
