I have brown with a little golden in my hair but i want a different dye job. like black on top layer of my hair and then auburn the bottom part? or something, iono fosure yet. Can I get some ideas (if possible picture too)

I dont know how to decribe my skin tone because i dont know the difference. But it's like Jessica Alba's skin color i guess or Jennifer Lopez. im not pale but not TOO tan

If you really want the layerd color look, try it with two shades that are close so it's subtle. Maybe a caramel brown on top and a chestnut brown on the bottom.

No offense but I think the duel layering look is hideous on anyone. You could try for a more modern and attractive look to do a darker color like the black with thick chunks of the reddish auburn. The best idea would be to match color tones with your face as mentioned above. Also, if you want a special dye job like a duel layering technique I would go see a professional stylist who can also help you pick a color. They have books with hundreds of colors which they can match to both your skin tone, eye color and current root color. No one wants tacky roots (TRUST ME). But if you're not sure buy some demi permanent dye which should only last like a week and try those colors out. You can get an idea of what colors look best

depending on your skin tone is what makes or breaks a dye job. That sounds like a sexy look...if you have a more carmel or olive skin I bet it would look awesome. Go for it!
