no....first color it then cut it...by doing that, you are cutting off any dryness that the color causes...i am a hair stylist, and I know

I would dye then cut. When you dye your hair, it dries it out, especially at the ends, and if you cut it post-dye, it would get rid of those split ends.

I just got my hair cut and dyed yesterday by a professional. SHe dyed it first, then cut it. I figure this will cut off any dryness, split ends the colouring cost. Dye it first.

definitely dye and then cut. That way if you do not like the color, you can cut it off and try again.

ok, you should totally dye your hair first because if you cut it first then dye in then your hair might be too short to dye!

I don't think it makes much difference, other than the more hair the less dye there is to go around. Whatever is the easiest.

Cut then dye. If you have split ends or dry ends, they will soak up the dye.
