I have frizzy, wavy hair, but when my hair is wet, I have a habit of curling my hair around my fingers. When my hair drys up, my hair looks great in curled locks. Is this bad? Does anyone know a product to get my hair to do this naturally?

My mom wont let me get one, even though my hair is very hard to manage. Her thinking is, that it damages your hair and makes it fall out. IS this true? And is their any way i can persuade my mom?

by the way i'm willing to pay for it too.

I went to the salon yesterday to go blonde for the first time. I'm naturally a very dark brunette... and after 2 1/2 hours, the color came out all wrong. It's very brassy and orangy and i'm not happy at all with the outcome. Though it is a 'blonde' color, I wanted to have a natural golden blonde color. My question is... what do I do now?
Can I buy haircolor from a store that is a bit lighter in hopes that this will take some of the brassiness out? It honestly looks like somone ::chuckles:: peed on my head (ew! :x )
Will the haircolor I bought at the store work on pre-dyed hair? Also, how long should I wait? My hair is pretty strong and hasn't shown much sign of damage so far.
Any and all advice you could give would be very much appreciated! :) It's my first time going this light, and i'm somewhat baffled. I just want to get my hair to a nice an natural looking blonde.

I'm Persian and my hair is pretty sensitive, and it takes a bit of work to make my hair look the way I want it to. I'm sure other Middle Eastern girls can relate to this. I can't just dry my hair and go out. Gel, mousse, blow drying, hair irons, relaxers...I've tried 'em all. My hair used to be damaged from all this, but it's much better now. I use Frizz Ease products, which works pretty well, but my hair still never stays the way I want it to. When I get my hair relaxed, it stays under control more, but still needs work. I'm thinking about trying Japanese hair straightening sometime. I'd like to look nice and have some nice pictures in Hawaii, but that's not going to happen with frizzy hair...please help meeeeeeeee!!!

I work with young people and they are always french pleating each others hair, I'v asked them how to do it yet when I try it out on my 7 year old it just doesn't seem to be working. I have been looking through sites on the internet but cant seem to come up with any sites that tell me how to do french pleats.

Can anyone help? Jen :)

I have dirty blonde or light brown hair that has been through too much in store dye. I cant afford a salon because my hair is to my lower back and Ive been quoted atleast 150 for a single color. Its oily at the roots and dry at the ends so I use a deep conditioner, as well as a leave in for the ends. I know after this description I shouldnt dye it, but its a faded strawberry blondish color except for my darker roots. I want to go with a brown with red highlights, but I have to use a store (walmart, target, etc). I have very light pink/blue undertoned skin and gray blue eyes. Any ideas on a good product or specific color? I dont like Garnier, so not that. It never holds to my hair and dries it out terribly. Thanks!

.....when I put the conditioner I have at home on (Pantene), you'd never think I'd put any on at all. Any suggestions, please?

I have medium blond or dirty blond hair. About a 6 on the color scale. I dont dye my hair, but my roots are always 2shades darker making it appear dyed?(About 2-3cm are darker) I find it very unsightly, and hate it when people ask if I dyed my hair blonder. I dont want to lighten the roots, cause I dont want the regrowth to show up even worse.
Should I just have the rest of my hair coloured the same as my roots? Which would be a cool light brown?
Would this be a wise move?

For the ladies: When are you showing, at the back of your conditioner says you have to leave it on for 1-3 minutes. What do you do while waiting for the time? I'm just curious. =D
