I am 19, I believe they look attractive if they are thin and well maintained.

Actually, full length sideburns are so NOT attractive and I wish the idiot who made them cool would drop off a clif if he hasn't already.

It CAN be pulled off, on the right face, but generally I would say not, not unless you can pull of one of things like Chris Daughtry on American Idol, thin and neat.
