I'm Persian and my hair is pretty sensitive, and it takes a bit of work to make my hair look the way I want it to. I'm sure other Middle Eastern girls can relate to this. I can't just dry my hair and go out. Gel, mousse, blow drying, hair irons, relaxers...I've tried 'em all. My hair used to be damaged from all this, but it's much better now. I use Frizz Ease products, which works pretty well, but my hair still never stays the way I want it to. When I get my hair relaxed, it stays under control more, but still needs work. I'm thinking about trying Japanese hair straightening sometime. I'd like to look nice and have some nice pictures in Hawaii, but that's not going to happen with frizzy hair...please help meeeeeeeee!!!

I too have curly hair, & once it gets wet, boy watch out. So I usually staighten my hair every 3rd day, & use a nourishing hair treatment, like pure coconut oil, to nourish & moisturise my hair, which works for me.The humidity causes the frizz, just like when the hair gets wet, try applying a good quality frizz serum, leave in conditioner 7 then blow dry, or straighten your hair. But obviously before straightening wait till hair is dried witha blow dryer, this helps too, as it acts as a double straightening action.Carry a frizz free serum with you in your bag & when you feel it's going a bit crazy just run some through your hair without soaking it & ruining your hair style.

I have the same problem in humid weather - I use Frizz Ease and Dove Flyaway Tamer. It's like a cream kind of, but it doesn't make your hair greasy. The only bad thing about it is you probably will have to reapply it every couple of hours. But it would probably help you if you used it right before you took a picture or something. It smells really good, too.

you could use John Friedas frizz-ease products or Ojon products(you can buy them on qvc) to make your hair not frizzy. i have the very same problem, & those usually work for me. you can try some Aussie & ganier fruitis(sp?) products too.
