That's a really bad idea. If you want to save some money that way you could end up really damaging your hair. Not just the texture, but also the COLOR!
First of all, I think you should never dye your hair until your hair color starts to fade and you start getting gray hairs.
All the stars on T.V. look "great" with dyed hair..oh sure...but in real life take a good look around you. How many people do you see with healthy good looking hair that have it dyed?
God created your hair color for a reason, it matches you! Don't ruin your beautiful self.

ive heard that kool aide will dye (stain) your hair, but i think it only works if you have light hair

u can prepare henna. that s good for hair.....there are some herbal products available....can get them and make powder ....add water to that and apply after it gets dry have headbath...
