.....when I put the conditioner I have at home on (Pantene), you'd never think I'd put any on at all. Any suggestions, please?

forget pantene! - tresemme conditioners are really good, try them out and once a week put on their repair mask and leave for 5 minutes to give your hair a nice soft feel. also try using a leave-in spray conditioner before styling and combing to de-tangle it - try andrew collinge 'perfect endings' you should get these from your local supermarket. i have long hair and i know how hard it is to upkeep it, if you find any better solutions then please let me know, hope your hair is silky smooth soon!!

Which Pantene are you using? I use Pantene Blonde Expressions conditioner, and that stuff is amazing!! It's in a bronze looking bottle and not at all the same as the "regular" pantene from the white bottles. It is more expensive, but the results are excellent.

Gold Well is the best conditioner around ,it conditions and detangles all types of hair and has no build up.
You need to change your shampoo and conditioner about every six months to a different brand because most shampoos that are sold to the public are almost all protein and will build up on your hair and cause it to break more easily.A shampoo made to remove that build up is available at Sally's ,I cant recall the brand name at this moment but the staff can help you ,its
called a de- clarifying shampoo, and you use it about every 4 to 5 shampoos. good luck

Treseme' Is an awesome brand of hair care. Pantene isnt really that good for your hair because while it looks silky and smooth, all it is really doing is coating your hair in a waxy formula which doesnt help repair damage, or prevent from further tangles and breakages. In the end the wax build up will weigh down your hair, making it heavy and flatter. treseme is less expensive, and better for your hair

oh let me tell you a major buy you need to have.

garnier fructics i think is how you spell it. its a green bottle. and you need to get sleek and shine. its the only type or garnier that works. dont get volume and whatever, get sleek and shine. it says it on the bottle with any ornage baskround the shimmers.

trust me. its a hair-saver!

the shampoo is soo good that sometimes i dont have to use conditioner!!!

good luck.

half of the girls say good well, head and shoulders, pantene, but garnier is the most amazing. fine, dont believe me, but youll be sorry you dont try it!!!

I use the deep conditioner by herbal essences, the fruity one

I have really dry thick hair, and that seems to do the trick. I leave it on for as long as possible

Also - try the VO5 hot oils once a week, thats seemed to have done wonders for my hair.

Dove shampoo and seperate conditioner. Since I have been using this my hair has been in such good condition, would recommend to all.

You will have to purchase the correct ones for your hair type though, and if you have coloured hair make sure you purchase a shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair.
