my hair is extremely long and black and the top part of my hair is always oily compared to the bottom, which is dry and has split ends. how do i exactly deal with this? thanx! *;)

...I have never dyed (or is it died, lol I dunno) or done anything to it actually but cut it. I'm thinking of dying (or dieing? lol again), should I? And if I should what color? Its really long, and I have dark eyes and I'm tan if that helps with choosing a color. Thanks!

I am a white girl and I have currrrly, frizzy hair.It looks great when i just let it dry naturally but I always straighten my bangs and the humidity takes over and they curl up my forehead. I have and can use a hair staightener (chemicals) but I just need ideas because the humidity in the South is horrible!! Is there a cut or way to make this stuff more manageable?? I have a round face with big eyes. I just hate it when my hair curls so much when I go outside

Everytime I shower, I have about 5 or more strands of hair that has fallen out in my hands. Then as I rinse, apply conditioner, rinse out the conditioner, more and more falls out. It also comes out when I brush my hair, run my hands through my hair, etc. I'm so tired of my hair falling out! It's getting really thin looking and I used to have extremely thick hair. In fact, it's probably a good thing I did cause I might be bald. :( It's been falling out for the past few months.

Anyway, does anyone know what this means? Does anyone share the same problem?

I have hair down to my butt almost it was before but I cut off about 5 inches off. I was thinkin about gettin a perm but a loose one. I dye my hair at least 2 or 3 times a year and its been about 8 months since the last time i dyed it. Right now i think my natural hair color is auburn with natural blonde and red highlights.

I did have it done proffessionally and I told her that it was burning. The hairdresser told me that this was normal. I went back the day after to show them my scalp and they said there was nothing they could do.
