Go to a different salon and tell them what happened. I have known a couple people that lightened their roots a little and then they would go back in a few days and finish having it lightened. I know it sounds like a pain, but it is an idea. They didn't burn their scalp that way either.

I remember that happened when i had mine done all over, thats why i went brown! If you want a full then then im araid theres no other alternative because the bleach has to touch the scalp. mybe you can try a full head of hghlights but make the sections chunky, this way it will look like you have full head withiout letting the bleach touch your scalp

You left the coloring on too long. When you do it again make sure you leave it on exactly how long it says and if it starts to get a burning sensation rinse it out immediatly. Also try hair color for sensitive scalps.

I would make sure you are completly healed and than go to sallys beauty supply and get a scalp safe cream bleach or lightener(high lift tint) and to just your regrowth nothing else remember bleach and lighteners swell .Get someone to help you.If you are to scared and you go to a salon make sure they know that this happened to you.You can buy extra and mix it and test it in one spot the day before to see if the same thing is going to happen

I'm guessing that you DID have it done professionally. I'm blond also and I have it colored to cover the grays . sometimes it does burn my scalp . Maybe you just have a sensitive scalp. "O the price we pay to be gorgeous"

you can re-dye your hair, just read the directions on the box. it tells you how long to leave in the dye. the first time you dyed your hair, the dye must have over-processed and burnt your scalp.

Go to a professional and have them do the touch ups, teel them about what happened before they could use something less harsh on your hair.
