Hair - August 2006

I'm trying to lighten my hair after coloring it black for the past 2 yrs and I want it as light as possible. I'm a natural blonde, but I would be happy with a light brown too. I got it to be a dar brown after 2 colors of hair remover and I want to try using a developer. So, how do you go about using it?

I always find my hair shedding during the summer and it stops in the fall. Is this normal? It happens every year but everytime it happens i freak. Does this happen to anyone else?

I have jet black straight (permed) hair, medium length, however, I am interested in growing natural hair. Do most men prefer natural hair or straight european looking hair. my hair is colored and very dry. I've been home from work now and will be for a month, I was wondering if it would be good for me to let my hair go unwashed for awhile to let the natural oils get all over.. has anyone any input on this?? and how long is long enough.. probabally until my husband cant stand it anymore. hahaha.. just wondering if this is a good thing??

Have you ever looked better going in to the hair stylist than you did when you came out? ( And that's not a good thing.) I don't think there is a hair stylist anywhere than can style my hair. Does this happen to anyone else, or is it just me?
