What color highlights should i get for black hair. Before the stylist thought blond would look nice but i didnt really like it as much as everyone else did. so what color is nice.?

I don't think blonde would look good either...it would be too skunky looking (I might change hair stylists if mine suggested that...but thats just me). I don't really think you should get highlights. With very dark hair, any other color would be really dramatic. Is your hair blueish-black? See what undertones are in your hair and try getting a color similar to that.

Do you want shock? Try pure white or an extremely brilliant and fluorescent colour (blue, orange, purple). Or drive everyone crazy and put in black highlights. (emperor's new clothes). Have fun.

well if you dont want it to be too vibrant.. maybe a redish color. im not sayin blood red or irish red, a dark brown/red. it look snice in dark hair and is noticable... but not too noticable..

try a caramel with maybe a dark auburn

i think plain black hair is really beautiful.
(as long as it's healthy as silky)
