You can wash her hair as usual and then if you have any white vinegar in the house. Pour it thru her hair with her head bent over. It will smell bad but it will get rid of the green and you don't have to buy anything.
Oh, and by the way. for the person who said it is wierd. It is actually normal with someone with blonde hair.

Actually this is very common. It is the chlorine. All hair types can be effected, but blonde hair is more noticeable. Shampoo for swimmers is a good suggestion. If you have a clarifying shampoo use it, it will strip the chlorine build up off her hair; or if you have some baking soda try this...in a measuring cup pour in 1/2 cup of shampoo and 3 tablespoons of bakingsoda, mix well and use to shampoo her hair, this works the same as a clarifying shampoo, but with all above condition well as it will dry out the hair. Each time your daughter is getting in the pool have a spray bottle handy with a mixture of water and conditioner to spray her hair with, this will help to avoid the hair from absorbing so much chlorine.(Mixture should be as follows: 1 tablespoon of conditioner to 3/4 bottle of water, shake well).

oh my hair does that all the time, its from the chlorine in the pool, it turns it green. They have all different kinds of swimming shampoos at the stores, if your daughter is really young, use loreal for kids, it works really well. I know this because my 6 year old cousin uses it. Hope I helped!

This used to happen with me when I was younger... try using a blue shampoo or a purple shampoo (ask your local salon)... its meant to keep highlights looking the same, but should do the trick on getting the green out. Don't worry though, she should grow out of it as her hair fades to a more adult blonde color.. its just when they are young and white white blonde that the chlorine turns the hair green.

It's the chlorine in the public pools that does that. Mine used to do that when I was younger, and swam everyday. Use a good mosturizing shampoo. Chlorine is extremely damaging to hair, that is why a good shampoo is important!
You may have to shampoo it 3 or 4 times a day, for several days, but it will wash out. Don't worry!

that happens to a lot of blondes after swimming in a pool with too much chemicals. if you get a good shampoo specialized for blondes it should turn it back to blonde. it may take a few washes though.

Chorine from a swimming pool can give blond hair an unattractive green tint, but you can neutralize it with tomato juice.Just rub some juice in your hair, leave on for a coulpe of minutes and shampoo.

There's different swimmer's shampoo sold at Walgreens to use after swimming if your hair turns green. My hair actually does turn green after swimming... it's from the chlorine.

there's this shampoo called Shimmering Lights and it comes in a purple bottle. It will take out the color as well as keep it from turning again. Just make sure that you wash in that about every other time she shampoos it. at least until the end of swimming season

Try some lemon juice on her hair to bring her color back. But to keep it from turning green you should tell her to wet her hair down with cool tap water. When her is already saturated it won't be as able to absorb the cholrine water that turns her hair green.
