Use Sunsilk products for straightening hair. (purple) It's shampoo, conditioner, and 24/7 creme. Also, buy a ceramic hair straightener. They don't burn your hair, and they work really well! :)

I have natural curly hair and I straighten mine every day. The best way is to use a smooth/sleek shampoo and conditioner. The best place to get this is from a salon. I haven't found a very good "drug store" shampoo. There are probably some good ones there, but I haven't come across them. I really like Matrix-Smooth and Sleek. After washing your hair, be sure to condition it very good. Your hair needs the moisture so it doesn't fry. After this, you will want to use a straightening product. Believe it or not, Avon has one for a few bucks that I really like. I also like Aveda, which you can get from a salon. After the straigtening product, you need to blow dry your hair while brushing it straight....and go slow. If you want to get the best results you will also want to use a flat iron. Before you use the flat iron, be sure to use some type of protection product, which will keep your hair from being fried.

I know this is alot of "product" and alot of steps. But who said beauty was easy???

blow dry it straight after washing it and apply some kind of straightening spray or cream. if your hair is frizzy apply a frizz serum, too.

Then use an ionized ceramic hair iron (they are much more expensive than the cheap ones, but they don't completely destroy your hair.) I LOVE my CHI hair straightener (about 120 bucks). Avoid going over the same sections more than once. This should totally straighten your hair and should last a couple of days. Just don't use any heat-styling product more than once or twice a week.

Wash your hair with a good shampoo, BUT NO CONDITIONER! Do noy blow dry, let your hair dry naturally, and brush it like every 10 minutes. Once it is dry, use a Conair staighener. part your hair down the middle, the take 1/4 of it and straightn it. do it by 1/4 ths and make sure its dry!

Don't buy a cheap "Wal-Mart" flat iron. Go to a supply house like Sally's. Expect to pay around $100.00. But WELL worth the extra few bucks!

Shampoo...rinse....towel dry...add "slick and shine" from fructis... comb straight and wrap in a cloth...kind like a sausage, let dry overnight....

no heat...takes out some of the curl....looks wierd but is super good for the hair.
