Is there any such thing as actual laser? or is it the same thing as intense light pulse? What's safer and more effective for removing/reducing facial hair? Every time I go somewhere where they claim to do laser, it turns out to be intense light pulse, so I'm beggining to wonder if they're just the same thing, but the beauticians don't seem to know if that is the case.

i have pretty curly hair. but, ive gotten it pretty thick and healthy.
for that reason, and the reason it just gets frizzy and nasty, i dont really straighten it with a ceramic straightener or blow dryer.
i really like//want straight hair though.
is there anything i can do that is safe for my hair but will get it straight?
and im not looking for a permanent straight...maybe just a way to relax it even just into waves for a couple days//weeks//whatev.

I want to dye my hair purple if our bball team goes to state tournament. If koolaid wouldn't be good, any other ideas? My hair is a blondish browish color with a little bit of an orange tint. The dye would have to be temperary.

I used to shave my armpit and sometimes using the tweezer to pull the hairs out...and my armpit becomes a bit black...

Is there any thing I could do (ie using some kind of lotion?!) about it or to clear those black pigment?

okay i have hair extensions and when ever i glue them in its so hard to wash and brush my hair without feeling like they are being ripped out of my head. Can someone give me some extension tips cause i dont know why it does that. I think i need the allover 411.........thanks

I have shooting stars on my stomach that go up my hips and up my side to my ribs. The other day I asked what color I should color them in.. and a lot of people told me to "shadow" them. What exactly does that mean... and what colors should I use?

I've decided to go with a medium blue for the main BIG star and purple for the medium stars and pink for the smaller stars. I'm going to have three stars added that are completely black, too. I'm still going to have the one big star "glowing" yellow/orange.

What does the "shadowing" mean, and what color should I have them shadowed?

I just got my nails done, manicure and paint, a few days ago. They have the french tips with a flower, but thats beside the point. They are already chipping, i play tennis and its difficult for me to keep them from chipping.

I cannot find a shampoo brand that is right for me. I have to change my shampoo every three weeks or so. When I start using a certain brand at first my hair loves it. It looks shiny and strong, but in a while it looks tired and I get dandruff. I am so tired of spending a lot of money on new shampoos that I can use only for a couple of weeks. I wish they were sold in smaller bottles.
Isn't it weird what my hair does?
Do you have any suggestions?

I saw this picture months ago online, but cannot find it again. It is a picture of a small angel tattoo, on someone's hip. The tattoo is black, and is very simple, almost a sketch, with very little detail (no facial features, etc). The angel is throwing her arms back, and kneeling. I'm 10, and I have huge, huge bags under my eyes, i don't get it, I sleep right, 9 hours average a day, and well, I guess I don't eat well and that's the main cause... Now going to the point-How do you make the bags under your eyes disappear? And is there another way besides using make-up? If not then just tell me the other way...
