Obviously it will get greasy at first, but after 8 - 12 weeks it is really good. A girl I know did this and her hair was amazing.

I went three months without washing my hair (I was considering dreads), it went thick feeling and nice after 4 weeks (I have flat, thin dry hair). After 2 months it went natty, and I could hardly brush it, after the third month, Iooked for advice from my hairdresser, she said I was a month away from bob style dreadlocks, not too bad, but I wouldn't suit them, so she gave me a loreal hairbath and a trim, I am now considering a perm, lol but natty hair does feel thick, and not at all greasy or dirty!

Tell your mate that it will not improve manageability! Get it washed and coiffeured! lol xx

PS. It does looks manky though, not washing it!

It will get really greasy and start to feel all gross. It will begin to smell bad. If you have dandruff all of that will buildup in your hair and it will look like it snowed on your head. Dirt will stay in it and stuff. It would be nasty..the person who told you this needs to research before telling people stuff.

It's very un hygienic, but nothing extremely adverse will happen.
Common misconception is that you'll get lice, but lice prefer clean hair just as much.
It will become Very greasy (not silky, just slippery), dandruff, matting and maybe a scalp condition.
There are some remote civalisations that never wash there hair and they coped.

Initially it will go greasy. After a few weeks your natural scalp oils will return to normal (these are constantly disrupted by being removed by hair care products) and your hair will start to look shiny and natural. Your hair will need to be thoroughly brushed regularly but you will be amazed at how good unwashed hair can look once your natural oils settle down.

After all cats. dogs chinchillas etc never wash their hair with anything other than water (saliva) and we are, after all, just mammals.

Your hair would purely end up greasy and function a heady scent. in case you employ products to style and care on your hair, the article will enhance and create a movie on your hair. also, your hair progression would also be affected. A clogged scalp will no longer push out healthful hair.

Not washing your hair will make it oily cause when you wash your hair your natural oily is striped so obtain that shiny silky . but you dont want your hair to oily so just wash twice a week and you will get good results

I read an interesting article about this study they did in England where they had about 6 women who went 6 weeks without washing their hair. Some of them loved it because it made their hair wavy or otherwise improved it while others could not stand it! I personally could not do it because my hair is extremely oily.
