After a certain age, like 18, or 21 is a good age for anyone to get a tattoo. I think girls with tattos are cool, but I don't like girls with tattoos all over their body. Tasteful tattoos look cool.

In my opinion tattoos on girls can be attractive if they are small and tasteful. I wouldn't find a woman attractive who had a large amount of her skin covered in ink. I love tattoos, but I love a woman's naturual beauty even more. So for me a few tats in a few different areas can be hot. I do like lower back tattoos but the've become quite a cliche these days.

I have six tattoos and( I am not a prostitute or porn star) and each and every one of my tattoos mean something special to me,and I'm probably not done. A person walking down the street doesn't always see my tattoos, most of them are covered by a short sleeved shirt and I can choose how many of them I want to show by what I wear.

Depends on the tattoo and the girl. I think girls that get "tramp stamps" (the tattoo on the lower back) always look whorish. However, my wife has a tattoo on her ankle, and its fine. I guess it just depends on if the girl can pull it off. Would be kind of like finding out Bill Gates has a huge Jesus tattoo on his back or something... Not quite right.

Why can't girls? If the proper age, 18 or older, I don't see why not if they want to. We loose people, like them and are our own people too. The 19th amendment gave us rights after a long time of being denied, why put a huge restriction back on ourselves? If she has a tattoo, cool. As long as it means something to her, I may not like it but it's not my body! I think she is brave to sit under the needle for however long it takes to get it despite women having naturally higher pain tolerances (the best example is child birth!) that process isn't easy on anyone. Tattoos are personal, not for society to judge. Now ... flowery "because it's cute" stuff ... no, the chances that it will still be cute are slim when you mature but like I said, it's their body. And I agree with an answer from the first page, it's a sexiest quesiton ... Not all girls that have them are porn stars and/or sluts.

I want one of the Kanji Dragon sign on my wrist because it means something to ME, what does it matter to you?

I don't even think age matters, I think as long as she puts a lot of thought into it and the tattoo is of something that holds a lot of meaning then it is a good idea. Girls who do it just to be cool or do it on impulse usually regret the tattoo, just think of all thoose girls who got tribal pieces because they were cool, now they aren't and they regret it.

If you want a tattoo than get a tattoo but be sure that you want one for life. Because once it is there it will never come off. Make sure it is not a guys name because you may break up.
It is okay for me I do not care.

Hey Sarah.....to me a girl is someone under 18....If you're under 18 you shouldn't have a tattoo. Anyone who would tattoo a child is an idiot.
However I love tattoos on WOMEN...

I hope this helps.

I definitely think it's fine. On both girls and guys tattoos can work or not work - so it's more dependant on the location and design of the tattoo than the gender of the person.
