We have had this painting for a very long time. Its an old oil paint .My dad has had it for 30 years . .he got it from his boss when his boss retired 30 yrs ago .My dads boss had got it from a art gallery or muesum. We cant remember which.Anyway it looks really old .Its dated 18and the rest is covered. On the right hand side it has a sighnature that is paint and its Tmoran .Thomas moran. Now we know that they didnt use staples in frames or on canvas back than.So if anyone knows where this could have came from or has something like it can they please let me know.I dont know if it was stapled due to them having to restretch it or if there were years when they made replicas that looked as real as this.Or maybey how old this is.I have pictures but I dont know how to send a link for one or if yahoo lets people do that.Any information would be great

I found this painting on EBay and want your opinion on whether it is good enough to bid on. My question to you is: would you buy it? And should I bid on it (or is it worthless)? I'm not much of an art expert, so I need someones opinion. It says it's a remake, so I know its not authentic.

Almost everybody loves it. Why? It doesn't look beautiful to me. (As a matter of fact, I haven't seen it real-life before.:))

We found a cute ceramic figurine that suits our taste as a wedding souvenir. Unfortunately, it is made of white porcelain with blue color as the accent. I would like to know if I can paint the whole item in metallic gold to match our motiff. Will that be possible? If so what would be the best paint to use and what special preparations should be made? Your tips will be highly appreciated.

There is an artist that I'm thinking of who was traumatized as a child when they found their dead mother's face covered with a veil. I can't think of who it is, but a famous painting was done by them portraying a man and a woman kissing, but their heads are covered with veils.

If anyone could please tell me who this artist is, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Do real artists count on inspiration? Because, I've been known to make beautiful paintings and works of art when I'm truly in the mood and have an idea and am inspired. But, without it, my drawings suck. Do I really have any talent? Should artists be able to make masterpieces WITHOUT inspiration?
