The stupid digital camera I have tends to wash out (fade out) the more subtle colors in these photos taken of my art, but hopefully you'll get the idea.

The young woman in the painting is hardly the model type. I was going for an average girl, the type you might encounter in an art class, serious and passionate about her art and her life. I hope I was able to get this effect right.

Please let me know and be honest. Thank you.

She is dressed in blue with a straw hat /flowers and the girl selling has a red scarf around her neck. The other is a woman with a little girl holding her doll. All I know is his paintings have hung in Buckingham Palace in London England. He has one of Nature with green trees around water in the foreground with lily pads on the water and a house or cabin towards the back right side of picture. Anyone know how to find information on the man is very much appreciated, please. The 100 year celebration of him was in England in the year of 1935.

I saw a painting by Werner Tübke in Weimer, Germany about five years ago. I believe it is titled "Tod in venetig" (Death in Venice), but I can't find any books or images relating to it online. Anyone know anything about it? Links?

I'm going to paint on canvas for the first time. How do I know the canvas is of good quality and should I treat it with something before I begin painting? Thanks

My friend is an established artist in Europe. He needs someone to represent him in the U.S. How should I help him if I've never been in art business?

I have a storage container full of art supplies and paintings. For ten years I painted, was paid for artist-in-residencies, had shows in New York City, sold several paintings a year.

But about ten years ago I started doing computer art and only do sketchbooks to keep track of ideas.

I think if I had a workspace I might get back to painting.

So how do I know when to just donate all the good supplies to a school and toss all the work except a couple of paintings and a portfolio of work I've traded over the years (Kenny Scharf, Tom Otterness, etc.)?

How do you get inspired?

Hello,

I'm being ask to paint for a local store. They will provide the board, paints and brushes. The borad is like 15-20 square feet. I have never done a painting like this, so I'm not sure how I'm gonna charge them.

Do you charge them by hours or by the whole piece? If you charge them for the piece I mentioned before, what will be the resonable price?

Thanks!

He was'nt around during the time of Christ therefor the LAST SUPPER is his interpritation of what happened at The Last Supper. It's not like Davinci was there painting the Last Supper while it was transpiring

Now theres "The DaVinci Code" and this new story about mirroring the image of the Last Supper which will show one guy allegedly holding a baby.

Am I missing something here or did DaVinci somehow acquire inside information on Jesus?

I do believe in god but I am not one who bashes others for their beliefs or who is looking to find fault. I am just curious

Please give me a link to the work so I can see it for myself. I am leaving you a link to my own favourite that I painted in 1987 although I am always tempted to choose my most recent painting this time I resisted the temptation and chose one from several years ago. http://www.artwanted.com/imageview.cfm?id=481490&SubGal=Oil
