All I know is his paintings have hung in Buckingham Palace in London England. He has one of Nature with green trees around water in the foreground with lily pads on the water and a house or cabin towards the back right side of picture. Anyone know how to find information on the man is very much appreciated, please. The 100 year celebration of him was in England in the year of 1935.

Hi Patricia... I've been trying to track this since your first inquiry... so I have a few questions. Are you working off a signature or have you seen his name in print? How did you find his celebration information.... his religion? I have checked the complete inventory of Buckingham Palace** by G. de Bellaigue, who was Surveyor of the Queen's Works of Arts.. and there is no listing. If you're working off a signature.. they can be misleading. I just checked in E. Benezit* a resource collection that has a much finer mesh than the internet and found a V. Gromoff (trans. from French: Born St. Petersburg, 1800.. primarily painted portraits ...) Could it possibly be he? There was also a fire at Momart's facilities where works from the Palace were lost as well as the fire in 1992. Let me know... I'll keep checking:)

Shane, there's a particular paint for patio railings. Ask at a house shop. you will might desire to sand the railing and can % a primer first, so make particular to ask approximately that. attempt asking your question in between the form sections. they might handle this a lot greater often than effective artists.

Tried searching for his name but could not come up with anything. maybe the spelling is wrong?

anyway, the link below wikipedia's info on the
"Queens Gallery" as it states following:

It contains over 7,000 paintings, 40,000 watercolours and drawings, and about 150,000 old master prints, as well as tapestries, furniture, ceramics, books, and other works of art.

scroll down and you will find the artists' (in catagory by culture) artwork hanging in the palace
