Was Andy Warhol racist?

We are all, in one way or another, somewhat judgemental and prejudiced I suppose.

But if you are asking the question by suggesting that Warhol was racist against blacks then I would have to say probably not. At least two members of his close inner circle were black so this strongly suggests he wasn't.

Could he have been 'racist' towards Jews or other ethnic groups I really couldn't say. But from what I've read about him I've found no such proof by references.
