Your mother might hate this, but black tends to go very well with bright pinks. However, it's very difficult to paint over. Try a cool grey or get wild and do red. Red and pink would be very feminine, and if you have any more trouble finding what colour to do the last wall, look at Delias or Alloy catalogues. They have alot of nice ideas for teenage girls rooms!

Good luck, kiddo!

OOH! Why didn't I think of this before... Paint the opposite wall baby blue... and draw a mural! My father is a muralist and my room as a child was COVERED in paintings of lands he had traveled to. He could tell me bedtime stories simply by me pointing to a spot on the wall and saying, "Daddy tell me about that spot over there.."

It was lovely.

silver will come out but you need to do at least 3 coats, waiting for each one to dry completely before the next. to go with pink it depends on the shade, if its like baby pink, do cerise pink on the other wall, ,makes the room look huge too, or another pastel colour, lemon is fab with baby pink.

I would either do it in a darker purple or in sky blue with soft clouds. On the clouds you can hang almost anything and it looks good. Posters of rock stars or stuffed animals for fun.

Maybe grey or light cream? Otherwise you could go to a art and craft shop and buy a colour wheel - these show what colours go well together.

Why not do all walls pink and then do silver stencils on one wall to make it stand out.

Plain white would look great. Plus it'll be easier to change when she grows out of the pink.
