My favorite is blushing beauty by Peter Max. I have an original he painted after the first copy but the colors are slightly different. The blends in the strokes are magnificent.

I am also a devotee of Dali and have a signed serigraph of the Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory it is also beautiful but my wife has consigned it to the closet as it doesn't match her color scheme.

I saw this painting the other day and fell in love with it. The Waltz by Anders Zorn.

It's so intriguing... I love the contrast between the bright crowded ballroom in the background behind the curtain and the dimly lit privacy of the foreground. I love the style it's painted in as well, it's as if the artist's passion is displayed in the brushstrokes.

Do you want the best painting ever done or my favorite besides it? Salvador Dali rates Jan Vermeer van Delft as the best painter who ever lived, and many Art experts agree. Vermeer's "Artist in His Studio" is surely the most skillful of his works. I have a print of it in my living room. I also have posters of some weird paintings by Salvador Dali and Heironymus Bosch. "Persistence of Memory" (1931) is my pick of dali's works.
