I am an artist, in college and in need of some money. I have 25+ medium to large size paintings which I spent many hours on. Each year my porfolio gets bigger and better, yet my art work just sits at home with me. I have had one art exhibit and I know that my art work is phenomenal. I wanted to know how I could publish my art, so be used for greetings cards, calendars,or large poster size copies of my art....etc? I would like my art to be seen my people, get some money for all my hard work, instead of having my art stores awin a closet year after year. Thanks!!

My son is 6 years old, and he has been painting for almost 2 years now. Instead of his room looking like a typical room, he has canvases, painting materials, ect. all over the place. He is passionate about his hobby. He even asked Santa for a light box and new acrylic paints for Christmas. He is interested in selling some of his paintings, as he has sold some of them to people that come over to the house and see them, or come into the shop and see the ones that he has there (I work at a tattoo shop, and the owners let him hang his work there). Do you think there would be a market for his paintings on e-bay, or would that just be a waste of time and money? What are your thoughts?

Found some really cool things at an estate sale but they all need to be cleaned. ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated.

1. A large oil painting, very dusty, has alot of pencil marks all over and the canvas is fraying around the frame. The painting is done in light pastel colors and is scenery.

2. Some authentic Moose hide leather slippers but the inside has some kind of wooly fleece on them.

3. An awesome Dooney & Bourke Leather purse but it is very dirty inside and out. Leather is NOT scratched or torn but dingy. Needs a Good cleaning.

What would you use to clean these items? How would you go about cleaning them so I don't ruin them or their value? Where can I find the product/products you recommend?

Thanks so very much for the help! Looking forward to my new found treasures.

It's a picture of a women Greek/Roman classical. She is sitting on the right hand side, only a portion of her body is shown. She is either naked or hardly dressed, sitting on a bench and all of the left hand side is a garden scene with a possible stone structure. He said its along the same colors as creation (hands). I know it's not much to work with but if anyone has an idea please help I clearly know nothing about art.

I have an idea to have a painting done for my husband but I have NO IDEA how to go about doing this, who to contact or how much it will cost. I'd like someone fimilar to Maryland so he/she understands what I want done. I dont know any artists and am not fimilar with the art world at all but I have this super idea that would be so touching to my husband. He lost his fav Grandfather and both his adopted father and biological father all in a few months this year and the painting I have in mind would represent all of them. I emailed a few gallerys that came up when I searched for easter shore art but no one has responded. I dont care about who the artist is as long as it a good painting (landscape/water) and is reasonably priced.
Can anyone help with pointing me in the right direction? I really do know where to go for this. Thanks in advance!

I have a piece of his and want to know what it's worth! I bought it on a flee market this past summer and it is an original oil painting. I am very curious to see the same thing online, but I can't find a site that lists oil paintings by this artist, other than a few! Anyone know of some good art web sites? Thanks!

I have always been into drawing and I decided I want to take my art to the canvas. I think that the best way for me to start off would be with acrylics. Altough, I honestly know very little at all.

Assume that we have a canvas and want to paint "HELLO" on it,
using only two colors, one for background and one for "HELLO".
Here is my question, can you give me an estimate of the number of combination of colors that can be used for the background and "Hello" that would be pleasing for human's eyes and a painter can produce that easily.i'm clueless, just give me a number, for nstance more than 100,more than 1000.
I'd appreciate your help.

I am specifically looking for a painting of a bull and matador by Briseno. Also, the n in Briseno has an accent mark over it.
