That question really depends on what you think, you'll probably never get one straight answer on it and no one will ever know for sure. Unless someone somehow has a chat with DaVinci asks him. Some people say it's one of the disciples because there are 13 of them and if that's Mary in the painting then your missing a disciple. But others still think it's Mary. Personally I think it's Mary, where the other disciple is who knows, but if you look at the other men in the picture that's the only figure that looks very feminine, the rest clearly look male. There's really no denying that the figure looks very very similar to other females DaVinci has painted. This is one of the main reasons why I think it's supposed to be Mary.

I looked at the Last Supper up close and if that is Mary Magdalene she was one of the most flat chested women in history. While it is one fantastic work of art it defiantly was not meant to follow the bible story of the last supper. I do not pretend to know the point Da Vinci was trying to make, but I doubt it was the one Dan Brown came up with. Non the less he did wright a good story and it has gotten people to look beyond the bible. Good thing!!!

It certainly looks like a woman but it's not very likely to be Mary Magdalene. It is porbably St John the Evangelist who is usually portrayed as being very femine in looks.
The identities of the Apostles are derived from the inscriptions with which they are accompanied in a contemporary copy of the painting, now in Ponte Capriasca, Lugano. They are generally excepted on this basis as from left to right, Bartholomew, James the Younger, Andrew, Judas, Peter, John, all on Christ’s left, and Thomas, James the Elder, Philip, Matthew, Thaddeus and Simon to the right of Christ.

it's a mystery leonardo left us. it's either a very feminine guy, or a boyish chick. so it's up to your own interpretation. there's no proof, so anyone with a decisive answer is WRONG! unless you were there when it was painted, you can't know. so people need to open their closed minds to the other side of the argument and shut up.
