Hey Paige,

There are a number of ways to research a painting. You can go to the sites provide below, most want you to join, some are free, some are not. You can also call a Fine Arts dealer, or Auction. Those are all good ways to determine what you have, or find what you are looking for. Sometimes you get a direct find in Yahoo! Search too. With a search for "Larmoyeux Painting", there appear to be several artists with that last name. Review the search below, 1st site, has 5 pages with 10 web sites on each page.

If you're talking about F. Paul Larmoyeux, the classical landscape painter, it depends on how much you're willing to spend. They're not terribly expensive compared to other more famous artists works from that period, but they are not cheap.

If you want to remain private, email me what kind of figure you are prepared to spend and I can try to locate some works by him for you. This is what I do for a living.
