Most of that work was indeed fiction. There IS evidence that Jesus and Mary Magdalene had a relationship that was hushed up and any reference to it erased from the written record. It's pretty obvious why they wouldn't have included it in the bible, since it would upset the faithful in a rather extreme way.

I think it was Mark Twain who said the best kind of fiction has plenty of truth in it? It's all bunk, the Templars have no connection to the Masons, Sinclair was related to Robert Bruce and there were Templars taking shelter in Scotland, legend has it they joined as the battle of Bannockburn was in the balance and English soldiers seeing Templar knights casting off their robes and tunics and joining the fight caused them to turn and run, but Roslyn Chapel was built about a century later. Dr. Baryy Fell in his "America BC" argued that many European and Middle East cultures may have visited North and Central America centuries or eons before Columbus, so it's not impossible that Templars fled as refugees to the St. Lawrence Valley, but no proof. And the whole "Priory of Zion" nonsense was a known fabrication, the whole "DaVinci Code" thing is a brillant deception to peddle a bestseller novel, plus anything that gives Christianity the finger is bound to get lots of publicity and attention. DaVinci was brilliant, but for all we know he rediscovered marvels of the Ancient World, (consider the Antikythera Device), of ancient Greek, Pheonician, Minoan, etc. civilizations?

it quite is an fairly written novel that basically annoying situations one to think of outdoors the norm - it quite is basically entertainment and that i don't know what the author's own ideals are. the perfect factor of the tale is to cajole that Jesus replaced into married and had a family members, yet that it relatively is to be saved a secret from the international, yet he basically printed it. The intrigue keeps you riveted to the e book basically as any nicely written novel ought to. the determination of characters are fairly exciting and suitable to the settings Dan Brown has chosen. i might say for the exposure this e book has won, Dan Brown, have been given basically what he needed - distinctive money!

no, and remember that the da vinci code is a novel, wich is fiction, wich is not real. try to think of it this way: would you (or did you) believe in the force after you saw the star wars movies?

it is a fictional book.. but it is also a belief which disobeys christianity.. and i do not believe in it..

some facts in the book are surprising but it all depends on your beliefs.. and if you want more proof read the bible..

but, for example, a tracker cannot determine the movement between two feet, like how langdon was being tracked.
